For the past 20 years, Aline McMahon has been teaching creative movement, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and modern dance, along with gymnastics, tap, jazz, yoga and Zumba Kids Jr. to students of all ages, including credited ballet classes at Montclair State University.  She has a passion for bringing the love of movement to the youngest students at childcare centers throughout New Jersey.  In competitions, her students have received many awards for their performances including platinum, high gold and gold.  Many of her graduates have gone on to college dance programs where they continue their dance education.  

Aline received her Bachelors in Fine Arts (BFA) degree in dance from Montclair State University, graduating Cum Laude.  After completing her formal training, she continued her studies in New York with renowned teachers at the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance, Broadway Dance Center, and Dance New Amsterdam (formally Dance Space Center).  In 1998, Aline underwent intensive yoga training in Maine at Bates Dance Festival, and since that time has continued her yoga education through workshops and her own weekly practice.  In order to bring the best, most up to date education to her students, Aline continuously furthers her education by taking classes and workshops and attending seminars and conferences. 

Aline has received awards for choreography, along with an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Performing Arts.   Her professional credits include Maxine Steinman & Dancers, Dance Compass, and Spirit Dance.  She has performed on national programs, such as the Geraldo Rivera Show.  Aline is repeatedly invited to adjudicate children’s proficiency exams.
